Hand Sewing: Yo-Yos! (ages 5-8)

What are yo-yos? They are cute little gathered circles of fabric that are hand stitched and can be used in a variety of ways. Use them as a whimsical embellishment on just about anything you choose or make lots of them to make a pillow cover or quilt. They are a great project for learning how to hand sew and are so much fun to make! Plus, they only require a small amount of fabric which means you can use fabric scraps or even old clothes!
