The Dressmaking Summer Series for Kids will have a focus on fashion design and garment construction. This is a fun class for the child who loves fashion and wants to learn more about how to sew clothes! Students will explore design options for a bodice and skirt and then work on making a fashionable dress that they design themselves!
PREREQUISITE: Students must have taken Intro to Sewing for Kids or have basic sewing experience to be able to sew independently on a sewing machine.
- June 18, 25, July 2, 9, 23, 30, Aug 6, 13 from 12:30pm - 3:00pm
Class Duration: 8-class series, each class is 2.5 hours
Age Group: For girls and boys* ages 8 and older
*Project will be adjusted for boys but will still have a garment focus
